Raisin-cinnamon Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c butter or margarine, melted & divided
  • 1/2 (32-oz) package frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1 c sifted powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsps sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1/2 c sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsps milk
  • 1/3 c raisins
  • 2 tsps ground cinnamon

Directions
  • Step #1 Roll dough into a 14" x 8" rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
  • Step #2 Brush dough with 2 tbsps melted butter.
  • Step #3 Combine sugar & next 3 ingredients; sprinkle evenly over dough, leaving a 1/2" border on all sides.
  • Step #4 Roll up dough jellyroll fashion, starting with long side.
  • Step #5 Pinch seam to seal (do not seal ends).
  • Step #6 Cut roll this into 12 slices.
  • Step #7 Place slices, cut side down, in a lightly greased 9" square pan; brush with remaining 2 tbsps melted butter.
  • Step #8 Cover up & let rise in a warm place (85°), free from drafts, 1 hr or until doubled in bulk.
  • Step #9 Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 mins or until golden.
  • Step #10 Combine powdered sugar & milk; stir well.
  • Step #11 Drizzle glaze over warm rolls.
