Chili-cheese Grits Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 garlic clove, pressed
  • 2 c (8 oz) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine, softened
  • 1 (4-oz) can sliced green chiles
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 c regular grits

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook grits according to package directions.
  • Step #2 Stir in cheese & remaining ingredients.
  • Step #3 Spoon mixture into a lightly greased 13- x 9-inch baking dish.
  • Step #4 Bake at 350° for 1 hr or until set.
  • Step #5 For Chili-Cheese Grits Squares: Chill remaining half of grits.
  • Step #6 Cut into squares & broil 5 inches from heat 1 min on each side or until golden.
  • Step #7 Serve with Beef & Vegetables.
