Fruit 'n Nut Granola Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c sliced pitted dates
  • 1/3 c honey
  • 2 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 4 c regular oats
  • 1/3 c molasses
  • 1 c raisins
  • 1/3 c water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  •  Cooking spray
  • 1/2 c sliced almonds

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Step #2 Combine the first 4 ingredients In a large-ish bowl, & stir mixture well.
  • Step #3 Combine honey, water, molasses, & oil in a medium saucepan; bring to a boil.
  • Step #4 Remove from heat; pour over oat mixture, stirring well to coat.
  • Step #5 Spoon mixture onto a jelly-roll pan coated with cooking spray; spread evenly.
  • Step #6 Bake at 325° for 40 mins or until lightly toasted, stirring every 10 mins.
  • Step #7 Remove from oven; stir in the dates & raisins.
  • Step #8 Cool completely.
  • Step #9 Store in an airtight container.
