Hot Chocolate Muffins Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 c semisweet chocolate mini-morsels
  • 1/2 c half-and-half
  • 1/4 c chocolate syrup
  • 1/4 c sliced almonds
  • 2 tbsps cocoa
  • 3 tbsps vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 1/4 c biscuit & baking mix
  • 2 tsps vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c sugar

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine baking mix, sugar, & cocoa In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #2 Make a well in center of mixture.
  • Step #3 Combine half-and-half & next 4 ingredients; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened.
  • Step #4 Stir in chocolate morsels & almonds.
  • Step #5 Spoon into greased muffin pans, filling two-thirds full.
  • Step #6 Bake at 400° for 11 to 12 mins or until a wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean.
  • Step #7 Remove from pans as soon as possible.
