Holiday Brunch Tonic Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c water
  • 2 c fresh orange juice (about 6 oranges), chilled
  • 1 c sugar
  • 4 rosemary sprigs
  • 3 c club soda, chilled
  • 4 c cranberry juice cocktail, chilled

Directions
  • Step #1 Combine sugar & water in a small saucepan; bring to a boil.
  • Step #2 Reduce heat, & let simmer 4 mins or until sugar dissolves.
  • Step #3 Add rosemary; simmer 5 mins.
  • Step #4 Remove from heat.
  • Step #5 Pour sugar syrup into a bowl; cover & put in the fridge overnight.
  • Step #6 Uncover sugar syrup; remove & discard rosemary sprigs.
  • Step #7 Combine the sugar syrup, juices, & soda In a large-ish pitcher.
  • Step #8 Serve as soon as possible over ice.
