Maple-almond Granola Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsps brown sugar
  • 1/3 c maple syrup
  • 4 c regular oats
  • 1/3 c water
  • 2 tbsps canola oil
  •  Cooking spray
  • 1 c minced dried apricots
  • 1 1/2 tsps ground cinnamon
  • 1 c raisins
  • 1/3 c honey
  • 1/4 c slivered almonds
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Step #2 Combine first 4 ingredients In a large-ish bowl.
  • Step #3 Combine water, syrup, sugar, honey, & oil in a small saucepan; bring to a boil.
  • Step #4 Pour over oat mixture; toss to coat.
  • Step #5 Spread oat mixture on a jelly-roll pan coated with cooking spray.
  • Step #6 Bake at 325° for 35 mins or until golden, stirring every 10 mins.
  • Step #7 Place In a large-ish bowl; stir in the apricots & raisins.
  • Step #8 Cool completely.
  • Step #9 Note: Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
