Almond-vanilla Breakfast Ring Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 c butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c sliced almonds
  • 1 c firmly packed brown sugar
  • 24 frozen unbaked yeast dinner rolls
  • 2 tbsps vanilla-flavored cook-and-serve pudding mix
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat brown sugar & next 2 ingredients in a glass microwave-safe bowl at HIGH 1 min.
  • Step #2 Stir until mixed; microwave 1 more min or until bubbly.
  • Step #3 Arrange frozen rolls in a lightly greased 10-c Bundt pan.
  • Step #4 Drizzle sugar mixture evenly over rolls; sprinkle with pudding mix & almonds.
  • Step #5 Cover up & let this stand at about room temp 3 hrs.
  • Step #6 Bake, uncovered, on lower oven rack at 350° for 30 mins or until golden brown.
  • Step #7 Remove from oven, & let this stand 10 mins.
  • Step #8 Invert pan onto a lightly greased plate.
  • Step #9 Serve warm.
  • Step #10 Note: For testing purposes only, we used Jell-O Cook & Serve Vanilla Pudding & Pie Filling & Bridgford Parkerhouse Style Rolls made with fresh yeast.
