Ingredients
  • pie crusts (9-inch unbaked) .
  • 2 tbsps cornmeal .
  • 1 1/4 c sugar .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1/2 c butter (melted) .
  • 3 eggs (beaten) .
  • 1/3 c buttermilk

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Step #2 Stir sugar & cornmeal together.
  • Step #3 add eggs, butter, buttermilk & vanilla; mix well.
  • Step #4 Pour into pie crust.
  • Step #5 Bake 40-45 mins until set.
  • Step #6 Cool to about room temp before serving.
