Step #2 Place meat in large skillet, cook over medium-high heat 6 to 8 mins or until meat is no longer pink, breaking meat into small pieces with wood spoon or spatula.
Step #3 Pour off drippings.
Step #4 Add corn, tomatoes, seasoning mix & water to meat.
Step #5 Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly, reduce heat & let simmer 5 mins.
Step #6 Drain off any excess liquid.
Step #7 Pour into deep 9-inch pie plate; smooth top this with spatula.
Step #8 Spread cheese over top of meat mixure.
Step #9 I substituted Velvetta & it was wonderful.
Step #10 Prepare corm muffin mix according to package directions.
Step #11 Spread evenly over meat mixture.
Step #12 Sprinkly onion slices over top if desired.
Step #13 Bake 8 to 10 mins or until golden brown.
Step #14 Let stand for about 10 mins before serving.
