Layered Irish Cream Cake Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tbsps Baileys Irish Cream .
  • 1 c butter .
  • 1/4 c cocoa .
  • Cake .
  • 2 c powdered sugar .
  • 2 tbsps butter .
  • 1/2 c hot chocolate powder .
  • 1 tsp vanilla .
  • 1 tbsp corn syrup .
  • 1 c self rising flour .
  • Icing .
  • 4 eggs .
  • 1 tbsp milk .
  • 1/2 c Baileys Irish Cream .
  • 1/2 c butter .
  • 1 c sugar .
  • 1 c chocolate chips .
  • Filling

Directions
  • Step #1 For cake cream butter & sugar.
  • Step #2 Add eggs one at a time then vanilla & Baileys.
  • Step #3 Add remaining ingredients; if batter is too thick add a little milk, it should resemble basic cake batter.
  • Step #4 Pour batter into a 9x9 greased pan & bake this at 300F degrees for 60 mins.
  • Step #5 When cake is done remove this from oven & cool completely before filling & icing.
  • Step #6 For filling mix butter & Baileys then powder sugar.
  • Step #7 For icing, Melt chocolate chip & butter.
  • Step #8 Stir in milk & corn syrup.
  • Step #9 Split cake into two layers, place filling between layers & finish with icing.
