Chocolate Caramel Bars Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (18 oz) package white cake mix .
  • 1/2 c peanut butter .
  • 1 c quick-cooking oatmeal .
  • 2 tbsps milk .
  • 1 (8 oz) package low-fat cream cheese .
  • 16 oz caramel topping, dip .
  • 1 1/2 oz milk chocolate chips .
  • 1 egg

Directions
  • Step #1 Prehat oven to 350.
  • Step #2 Coat a 9x13 inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Step #3 Combine cake mix & oatmeal.
  • Step #4 Cut in peanut butter until mixture looks like fine crumbs.
  • Step #5 Beat egg with milk; add to crumb mixture,stirring until well mixed.
  • Step #6 Save 3/4 c of mixture.
  • Step #7 Press remainder into the bottom of the pan.
  • Step #8 Beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Step #9 Add caramel dip & beat until well mixed.
  • Step #10 Spread on top of crumb mixture.
  • Step #11 Sprinkle top chocolate pieces on top this with the remaining crumbs.
  • Step #12 Bake for 30 mins.
  • Step #13 Let cool completely; cut into bars & serve.
