Chopped Salad Recipe

Ingredients

4 oz sliced provolone cheese or havarti cheese .
10 sliced basil leaves .
1 c sliced black olives .
to garnish .
2 heads sliced romaine lettuce .
carrots, that have been julienned .
croutons .
red onion rings .
2 grilled boneless chicken breasts (I marinade mine in 1 T olive oil, 2 cloves garlic, & 1 t Italian seasonings) .
1 c cooked small shell pasta .
1 c sliced roma tomatoes .
1 c sliced mushrooms .
freshly grated parmesan cheese

Directions

Step #1 Slice the chicken thinly & set aside.
Step #2 Mix all ingredients together In a large-ish bowl except garnishes & chicken.
Step #3 When ready to serve use garnishes & chicken arranged over each individual salad.
Step #4 Drizzle w/ vinaigrette.
Step #5 Time includes grill time for chicken (if you are preparing the salad at the same time).
