Slow Roasted Peppers Recipe

Ingredients
  • 8 shallots (whole peeled) .
  • 8 garlic cloves (peeled) .
  • 4 bell peppers (use either all one colour or 1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 orange)

Directions
  • Step #1 Cut the peppers in half lengthways.
  • Step #2 Remove seeds.
  • Step #3 Place in a baking pan.
  • Step #4 Put a clove of garlic & a shallot into each shell.
  • Step #5 Bake uncovered at 150'C for approx 1 & 1/2 hrs or until very tender & aromatic.
  • Step #6 Serve either hot or at about room temp.
