Chocolate Wave Zucchini Bread Recipe

Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Step #2 Grease one 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
Step #3 In a large bowl, cream shortening & sugar together.
Step #4 Mix in eggs.
Step #5 Add zucchini, water, & vanilla; stir.
Step #6 Blend in flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt , & pumpkin pie spice.
Step #7 Stir in nuts.
Step #8 Divide batter in half, & add cocoa powder & chocolate chips to one of the halves.
Step #9 Pour plain batter into bottom of the loaf pan.
Step #10 Pour chocolate batter on top of plain batter.
Step #11 Bake until wooden pick inserted into center comes out clean, about 1 hr.
Step #12 Cool 10 mins, & remove this from pan.
Step #13 Store in refrigerator.
