Feta And Mint Lamb Burgers (pan Fry Or Bbq) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 4 large buns, lightly toasted .
  • 3 tbsps fresh mint, finely sliced .
  • 24 oz lean ground lamb .
  • salt & pepper .
  • 2 tbsps fresh oregano, finely sliced or 1 tbsp dried oregano .
  • 16 slices cucumbers, peeled .
  • 6 oz feta cheese, semi crumbled .
  • 1 tsp chili flakes .
  • 4 slices sweet onions .
  • 16 mushrooms (optional) .
  • 8 slices tomatoes (if the tomatoes are small then have two slices on each burger) .
  • 4 lettuce leaves

Directions
  • Step #1 Mix the mint, oregano,chili salt & pepper into the ground hamburger.
  • Step #2 Form into 4 patties.
  • Step #3 BBQ instructions:.
  • Step #4 Lightly grease your grill,.
  • Step #5 Cook over med-heat/flame for 4 mins, flip very carefully & finsh cooking the other side apprx 5 mins.
  • Step #6 During the last 5 mins cooking brown the feta in a lightly buttered fry pan over med-heat/flame - cook the mushrooms in the same pan.
  • Step #7 Pan Fried Instructions:.
  • Step #8 With the heat on hi gh brown one side of the burgers, turn the heat to low medium, carefujlly flip, add mushrooms to the pan & cover.
  • Step #9 cook apprx 8 mins.
  • Step #10 Flip the burgers once more & add the feta cheese to the pan, cover.
  • Step #11 Cook for just a min or two until the feta starts to melt & is slightly brown.
  • Step #12 Build you burgers by putting the burger on the bun with the feta cheese, add the other condiments & serve.
