Ramen Noodle Egg Foo Yung Recipe

Ingredients
  • soy sauce (optional) .
  • 1 (3 oz) package ramen noodles (I think chicken is the best but I like oriental flavored, every once in awhile) .
  • 1 tsp sesame oil .
  • 3 tbsps butter .
  • 2 large eggs .
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions & drain well in a colander.
  • Step #2 Whisk eggs, onions, 1/2 of the seasoning packet, & sesame oil with a fork in a small bowl & set aside.
  • Step #3 Heat butter on med high heat in an 8 inch nonstick skillet.
  • Step #4 Add drained noodles to butter & brown very lightly about two or three mins.
  • Step #5 Do not stir much.
  • Step #6 Pour whisked egg mixture over noodles & carefully incorporate, don't really stir, just sort of mix it carefully.
  • Step #7 Flip the patty over & cook the other side until the egg is set, about two mins.
  • Step #8 Flip over again & cook about 1 min more.
  • Step #9 Serve with soy sauce if you wish or an egg foo yung sauce.
