Honey Mustard Mint Burgers Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper .
  • 1 lb ground chicken or ground turkey .
  • 1 1/2-2 tbsps finely sliced fresh mint leaves .
  • 1/4 c honey .
  • 1/4 c Dijon mustard

Directions
  • Step #1 whisk together honey, mint, mustard, salt & pepper until well mixed.
  • Step #2 Remove about half of the honey glaze; set aside for brushing onto cooked patties.
  • Step #3 Shape ground meat into 4 (1/2-inch-thick) patties.
  • Step #4 Brush both sides of patties with some of the remaining glaze.
  • Step #5 Grill 5 to 6 mins, or until bottom of patties are golden brown.
  • Step #6 Turn patties over; brush with the remaining glaze.
  • Step #7 Continue grilling 8 to 9 mins, or until patties are no longer pink in the center.
  • Step #8 Remove patties from grill; brush with reserved glaze.
  • Step #9 Serve on buns.
