Ham Mushroom And Cheese Lasagna Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp basil .
  • 1 c grated parmesan cheese .
  • 1 c sliced onions .
  • 2 c cubed cooked ham .
  • 3 c sliced baby portabella mushrooms .
  • 1/2 c water .
  • 1 c sliced carrots .
  • 1 tsp oregano .
  • 2 tbsps olive oil .
  • 2 c whipping cream .
  • 1 (14 1/2 oz) can sliced tomatoes, undrained .
  • 1 c sliced green peppers .
  • 1/4 c dry red wine .
  • 1/2 tsp pepper .
  • 1 c sliced celery .
  • 1 1/2 c shredded swiss cheese .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 12 no-boil lasagna noodles (8 oz package) .
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
  • Step #2 For sauce, green pepper & garlic, in a 12-inch skillet, cook & stir onion, carrots, celery, in hot oil over med-heat/flame for 10 mins until vegetables are just tender.
  • Step #3 Add mushrooms & ham.
  • Step #4 Cook, uncovered, for 10 mins, stirring every once in awhile.
  • Step #5 Stir in cream, water, undrained tomatoes, & wine.
  • Step #6 Bring to boiling; reduce heat.
  • Step #7 Simmer, uncovered, 5 mins.
  • Step #8 Add salt, pepper, oregano & basil.
  • Step #9 In a small bowl mix cheeses.
  • Step #10 Spoon 1-1/2 c of the sauce in a 3-quart rectangular baking dish.
  • Step #11 Sprinkle top with 2/3 c of the cheese mixture.
  • Step #12 Top with 4 lasagna noodles, overlapping as needed.
  • Step #13 Repeat this twice.
  • Step #14 Spoon on remaining sauce & sprinkle with remaining cheese mixture.
  • Step #15 Cover up tightly with foil wrap.
  • Step #16 Bake about 50 mins or until heated through & noodles are tender when pierced with a fork.
  • Step #17 Let stand, covered, 15 mins before serving.
