Beef Stew With Cinnamon Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp rosemary .
  • 1/4 c red wine .
  • 3 c tomatoes with juice, sliced .
  • 2 tbsps olive oil .
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes .
  • 2 lbs boneless beef chuck, cut into 1-inch pieces .
  • 1 garlic clove, minced .
  • 1 green pepper, sliced .
  • 2 tbsps parsley, minced .
  • 1 white onion, sliced .
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon .
  • 1/8 tsp oregano .
  • 3 carrots, sliced thin .
  • 2 c tomato sauce .
  • 3 celery ribs, sliced .
  • 1/8 tsp thyme

Directions
  • Step #1 In a large pot heat oil.
  • Step #2 Add meat & sear on all sides.
  • Step #3 Remove & set aside.
  • Step #4 In pot pour off fat.
  • Step #5 Add onion, celery, green pepper, & garlic.
  • Step #6 Sautee about 3mins.
  • Step #7 Add tomatoes with juice, oregano, tomato sauce, thyme, wine, rosemary, cinnamon & redpepper flakes.
  • Step #8 Bring to a boil.
  • Step #9 Add meat to simmering sauce, reduce heat & cover.
  • Step #10 Simmer low for 2 hrs.
  • Step #11 Add carrots & let simmer 30mins longer.
  • Step #12 Serve.
