- 1/4 c nuts, sliced .
- 1/2 tsp vanilla .
- 4 strawberries .
- 2 c milk .
- 1 c whipping cream .
- 1 unsweetened chocolate square .
- 8 tsps artificial sweetener .
- 1/4 c long-grain rice (or brown)
Directions
- Step #1 IN a heavy saucepan, rice, heat milk, salt & chocolate until mixture boils.
- Step #2 Stir every once in awhile.
- Step #3 Reduce heat.
- Step #4 Cover up & let simmer for about 40 mins or until rice is tender & almost all the liquid has been absorbed.
- Step #5 Stir every once in awhile.
- Step #6 Remove from heat.
- Step #7 Stir in vanilla.
- Step #8 Refridgerate til chilled.
- Step #9 Stir several times.
- Step #10 Beat whipping cream til soft peaks form.
- Step #11 Beat in artificial sweetener.
- Step #12 Mix half of whipped cream with the chocolate mixture.
- Step #13 Pour into four dessert dishes.
- Step #14 Top with remaining whipped cream & nuts.
- Step #15 Garnish each with a strawberry.
