Crunchy Tuna Turnovers Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 (6 oz) cans tuna, drained & flaked
  • 1/3 c sliced ripe olives
  • 1/2 c shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/4 c crushed potato chips
  • 1 (12 oz) package put in the fridged buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/8 tsp lemon-pepper seasoning
  • 1/3 c mayonnaise

Directions
  • Step #1 In a small bowl, cheese, mix tuna, mayonnaise, olives & lemon-pepper; set aside.
  • Step #2 On a lightly floured surface, flatten each biscuit into a 5-in.
  • Step #3 circle.
  • Step #4 Spoon 2 rounded tbspfuls of tuna mixture onto one side of each circle.
  • Step #5 Fold dough over filling; press edges with a fork to seal.
  • Step #6 Place egg & potato chips in separate shallow bowls.
  • Step #7 Dip turnovers in egg, then coat with chips.
  • Step #8 Place on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Step #9 Make a 2-1/2-in.
  • Step #10 slit in top of each turnover.
  • Step #11 Bake at 375 degrees F for 18-21 mins or until golden brown.
