Quick San Chow Bow Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 small iceberg lettuce .
  • 1 1/2 tbsps soy sauce .
  • 500 g pork mince .
  • 2 garlic cloves, sliced .
  • 3 scallions, thinly sliced .
  • 2 cm piece gingerroot, sliced .
  • 1 carrot, julienned .
  • 200 g bean sprouts .
  • 1 tbsp sunflower oil

Directions
  • Step #1 Heat a wok, add oil & swirl to coat then add sliced ginger.
  • Step #2 Stir fry until fragrant.
  • Step #3 Now add sliced garlic.
  • Step #4 Keep stirring else it'll burn.
  • Step #5 Add pork mince [preferably in batches to prevent the mince being steamed] & stir fry until evenly brown [probably 5 mins].
  • Step #6 Cook for another 5 mins until pork is thoroughly cooked.
  • Step #7 Stir in soy sauce, scallions, carrot, & bean shoots.
  • Step #8 Mix well, season this with pepper if desired.
  • Step #9 To serve, tear lettuce leaves, fill with pork.
