Apple Butter Wedges Recipe

Step #1 In medium bowl with electric mixer, beat butter & sugar at medium speed until fluffy.
Step #2 Add egg yolk & apple butter & mix well.
Step #3 Add flour, cinnamon, apple pie spice & vanilla & beat until well mixed at lowish speed.
Step #4 Divide dough in half.
Step #5 Shape each half into 6" disc & wrap in plastic wrap.
Step #6 Refrigerate 30 mins.
Step #7 Preheat oven to 325°.
Step #8 Place one disc of dough into ungreased 9" round pie plate.
Step #9 With lightly floured hand, press dough into plate, covering plate completely.
Step #10 Flute edges.
Step #11 Deeply score into 8 wedges & using fork, prick surface all over.
Step #12 Repeat with remaining disc of dough & another pie plate.
Step #13 Bake 35 mins until golden brown.
Step #14 Remove to wire racks & cool completely.
Step #15 Cut into wedges.
