Mushroom Florentine Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c melted butter .
  • 1/4 c minced onions .
  • fresh cracked pepper .
  • 1 garlic clove, minced .
  • 1 tsp salt .
  • 1 lb fresh mushrooms .
  • 1 tsp olive oil .
  • 2 (10 oz) packages frozen spinach, cooked & well drained .
  • 1 c shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
  • Step #1 Slice mushrooms & saute in olive oil in small skillet over med-heat/flame until just tender.
  • Step #2 Remove to a small plate & set aside.
  • Step #3 Add spinach to skillet, over med-heat/flame, & season this with salt, onion, garlic.
  • Step #4 Stir & cook a few mins.
  • Step #5 Lightly butter a 9" pie plate.
  • Step #6 Line pie plate with cooked spinach.
  • Step #7 Top with mushrooms.
  • Step #8 Drizzle melted butter over.
  • Step #9 Top with cheese & pepper.
  • Step #10 (Can put in the fridge at this point, covered.
  • Step #11 Bring to room temp before baking, if made ahead.
  • Step #12 ).
  • Step #13 Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 mins until sizzling.
