• 3 lemons, juice of .
• 1/2 tsp chili powder .
• 1 tsp minced ginger .
• 1/2 tsp red food coloring .
• 1 large onion, sliced finely .
• 2 tsps minced garlic .
• 4 tsps salt .
• 1 kg chicken pieces, skin removed .
• Marinade .
• 1 tsp roasted coriander, ground .
• 1 c plain yogurt

• Step #1 Make 1 or 2 deep cuts in each chicken portion & place this in single layer in non-reactive dish with lid.
• Step #2 Mix marinade ingredients & pour over chicken pieces, making sure all parts of chicken come into contact with marinade.
• Step #3 Marinade chicken in refrigerator for minimum 24h & up to 3 days, turning frequently.
• Step #4 Remove from marinade & grill on medium-hot coals until cooked through but still juicy.
• Step #5 Prepare to receive accolades.
