Cowboy Cookies (low Fat & Splenda) Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder (up not level) .
  • 1 c Splenda granular .
  • 2 c rolled oats (not instant type) .
  • 2 eggs .
  • 1 c sliced dry roasted almonds or nuts, of choice .
  • 1 c third less fat margarine .
  • 1 c raisins .
  • 2 1/2 c flour .
  • 1/2 tsp salt .
  • 1 c brown sugar or 1/2 c Splenda brown sugar mix .
  • 1 1/2 c chocolate chips .
  • 1 1/2 tsps vanilla .
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda (rounded up)

Directions
  • Step #1 Cream together Splenda & brown sugar with margine; add eggs & vanilla.
  • Step #2 Blend in flour, baking powder, baking soda & salt; mix well.
  • Step #3 Add rolled oats, chocolate chips, nuts & raisins; mix.
  • Step #4 Place cookie dough 1-tsp size on greased cookie sheet; bake 375 degrees 12 to 14 mins.
