Bread Machine Whole Wheat Rolls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp active dry yeast .
  • 2 tbsps honey .
  • 2 tbsps molasses .
  • 1 1/2 tsps salt .
  • 4 c whole wheat flour .
  • 1 1/4 c water .
  • 2 tbsps oil (read NOTE*)

Directions
  • Step #1 Place the ingredients into the bread baking pan as recommended by your bread machine's manual.
  • Step #2 Use the DOUGH cycle setting.
  • Step #3 To hand shape the roll, once the dough cycle is complete remove the dough to a lightly floured cutting board.
  • Step #4 Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces & shape into balls.
  • Step #5 Place the rolls into greased muffin tins, brush lightly with melted butter or butter substitute.
  • Step #6 Cover up with a piece of wax paper & a clean cloth & let rise in a warm place for about 15-20 mins.
  • Step #7 Bake the rolls at 375 degress for 15-20 mins.
  • Step #8 Refrigerate leftovers.
  • Step #9 *NOTE: Here's a trick to measure the honey & molasses easily.
  • Step #10 By measuring the oil first, the oil coats the measuring utensil.
  • Step #11 Then when you measure out the honey & molasses the two ingredients slide off easily into the bread machine pan.
