Coconut Macadamia Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 c butter, softened
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c sliced macadamia nuts
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 c flaked coconut
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 c white sugar
  • 2 1/2 c all-purpose flour

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Step #2 In a large bowl, cream together the butter & sugar until smooth.
  • Step #3 Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the the vanilla & sour cream.
  • Step #4 Combine the flour & baking soda; stir in theto the creamed mixture until well mixed.
  • Step #5 Use a wooden spoon to stir in the the coconut & macadamia nuts.
  • Step #6 Drop dough by rounded tsps 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Step #7 Bake for 10 to 12 mins in the preheated oven, until edges are golden brown.
  • Step #8 remove cookies from baking sheets to cool on wire racks.
