8 slices smoked ham (not Shoulder, really thin slices) .
8 slices gouda cheese (or use your favorite cheese) .
5 tbsps safflower mayonnaise (not SOYBEAN) .
8 slices French bread
Directions
Step #1 Let the swiss stand open at about room temp for twenty mins before you start.
Step #2 Wash the shrooms, pull of the feet, & slice the heads thinly.
Step #3 Slice the tomato thinly as well.
Step #4 Make four sandwiches in the following fashion:.
Step #5 Spread both pieces of bread with mayo.
Step #6 You must use the mayo like glue to hold the sandwich together.
Step #7 Now sprinkle both sides generously with the shredded swiss.
Step #8 now glue a slice of ham onto the swiss shred.
Step #9 Now glue on some sliced tomato on one side, followed by a slice of cheese, shrooms, more cheese.
Step #10 Now glue the other half on top of this.
Step #11 Butter the OUTSIDE of the sandwich lightly, then Grill it on a grill, in a skillet (my favorite) or in a sandwich thinger until both outsides are toasted just the way you like it.
