Champagne-raspberry Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 c sweet champagne or 2 1/2 c sparkling wine .
  • 1 (12 oz) package frozen raspberries .
  • 1/4 c seedless raspberry jam

Directions
  • Step #1 To make sauce, place 2 c Champagne in a medium saucepan.
  • Step #2 Bring to a boil over medium-high to high heat; boil until reduced to 1 to 1 1/4 c, about 10 mins.
  • Step #3 Stir in raspberries & 1/4 c of the jam; reduce heat to low.
  • Step #4 Simmer 1 min or until jam is melted & raspberries are thawed.
  • Step #5 Cool slightly.
  • Step #6 Place mixture in food processor/blender or mixer; process until smooth.
  • Step #7 Strain through sieve to remove seeds.
  • Step #8 Cover up & store this in refrigerator.
