- 2 oz pecan nuts, sliced .
- 4 oz apples or peaches or figs, sliced .
- 1 c honey .
- 1 pinch salt .
- 3 large eggs .
- 1 c melted butter .
- 9 oz self raising flour
Directions
- Step #1 Preheat the oven to 350F & grease & flour a 8-inch cake tin.
- Step #2 Place the butter & honey In a large-ish saucepan & melt, stirring to mix.
- Step #3 Add eggs & lemon juice, mix well then slowly add the flour & salt mixing well.
- Step #4 Add sliced nuts & fruit, mix well to a very stiff batter then pour in to greased tin & bake for about 30 mins or until cooked through.
