Step #1 Sprinkle top walnuts into a greased 10-in.
Step #2 fluted tube pan.
Step #3 In a mixing bowl, cream butter & sugar.
Step #4 Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Step #5 Stir in almond extract.
Step #6 Combine the dry ingredients; add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream.
Step #7 Spread half of the batter over walnuts.
Step #8 Top with half of the cranberry sauce.
Step #9 Repeat layers.
Step #10 Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-55 mins or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.
Step #11 Cool for 10 mins before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely.
Step #12 In a small bowl, mix glaze ingredients until smooth; drizzle over cake.
