2 links soy sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch rounds .
4 oz veggie crumbles (soy ground meat) .
6 slices soy Canadian bacon .
1 pizza crust (12- to 14-inch, freshly made or commercial) .
1/4 c sliced onions .
1 c canned tomato sauce .
1 tbsp olive oil, divided .
Simple Spice uped Tomato Sauce .
salt .
12 slices soy pepperoni .
2 c shredded lowfat mozzarella cheese or soy mozzarella cheese
Directions
Step #1 Preheat oven to 450°; prebake the fresh pizza crust if using, for 3-4 mins; remove this from oven, & set aside to cool slightly.
Step #2 Make the Simple Spice uped Sauce: mix the tomato sauce, salt, Italian seasoning, onion, oil, & pepper; set aside.
Step #3 Make the “Meat Topping”: heat 1 tsp of oil in a big skillet over med-high heat; add the soy ground meat & sausage links; saute for about 3 mins, or until hot & slightly crispy.
Step #4 Using a spatula, remove the meat from the pan; add the remaining 2 tsps oil; saute the onions for 3 mins, or until translucent; add in the tomato sauce & stir; remove this from heat.
Step #5 Spread the tomato sauce over the crust; top this with the ground meat, cheese, pepperoni, sausage, & Canadian bacon slices.
Step #6 Bake for 13-15 mins, or until the cheese melts; remove this from oven & serve.
Step #7 For Vegan use a vegan soy cheese.
