Step #1 Pat chicken dry & sprinkle with salt & pepper, then dredge in flour shaking off any excess.
Step #2 Heal oil In a large-ish heavy skillet over medium high heat & brown chicken (in 2 batches if necessary), turning once for a total of about 5 mins.
Step #3 Transfer chicken to a plate.
Step #4 Add garlic to skillet & saute until just golden, about 2 mins.
Step #5 Add wine to skillet & boil for one min.
Step #6 Add broth, cover & let simmer 15 mins or until garlic is tender.
Step #7 Return chicken to skillet, skin side up, cover & let simmer until cooked through, about 20 to 25 mins.
Step #8 Transfer chicken to a platter & mash 8 cloves of the garlic into the sauce.
Step #9 (The back of a wooden spoon works for me).
Step #10 Spoon sauce over chicken & sprinkle with parsley.
