Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp salt .
  • 1 tsp baking powder .
  • 2 (2 1/8 oz) Snickers candy bars, sliced .
  • 1 1/4 c packed brown sugar .
  • 1/2 c quick-cooking oats .
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract .
  • 2/3 c shortening .
  • 1 1/2 c all-purpose flour .
  • 1 egg .
  • 1 tsp baking soda .
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions
  • Step #1 In a mixing bowl, cream shrtening & brown sugar.
  • Step #2 Beat in egg & vanilla.
  • Step #3 mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon & salt; slowly add to the cramed mixture.
  • Step #4 Stir in sliced candy bars & oats.
  • Step #5 Drop by rounded Tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto greased or parchment-lined baking sheets.
  • Step #6 Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 mins or until lightly browned.
  • Step #7 Remove to wire racks to cool.
