Potato And Corn Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 c shredded cheddar cheese .
  • 4 large russet potatoes .
  • 1/4 c sliced smoked sausage .
  • 1 c creamed corn .
  • 1/4 c carrots, shredded .
  • 1 tsp tony chachere's creole seasoning .
  • 1/4 c cooked ham, cut in cubes .
  • 1/4 c onions, minced .
  • 1 tbsp parsley .
  • 1/2 c milk

Directions
  • Step #1 Peel & cut potatoes into cubes.
  • Step #2 cover with water In a large-ish saucepan.
  • Step #3 cook this until tender.
  • Step #4 remove this from heat & carefully smash cubes without removing them from broth.
  • Step #5 Return saucepan to heat & all remaining ingredients except cheese.
  • Step #6 Cook over low fire for 30 mins stirring frequently.
  • Step #7 If mixture is too thin thicken with a little potato flakes.
  • Step #8 Serve with a sprinkle of cheese in center of bowl.
