Dilly Rye Boat Dip Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (4 oz) jar dried chipped beef, sliced
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 2 tsps celery salt
  • 3 tbsps dried dill weed
  • 1 (1 lb) loaf round rye bread
  • 1 c mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Beau Monde ™ seasoning

Directions
  • Step #1 Using a bread knife, remove the 'crown' of the bread.
  • Step #2 Hollow out the inside of the loaf, & cut into bite size cubes for dipping.
  • Step #3 In a medium bowl, mayonnaise, mix sour cream, celery salt, chipped beef, Beau Monde seasoning, & dill weed.
  • Step #4 Mix thoroughly, cover, & chill for at least 1 hr.
  • Step #5 Spoon the chilled dip into the hollow bread loaf, & serve this with cubed bread for dipping.
