Ruth's Simple Glazed Ham Steaks Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 tsp pepper .
  • 2 large ham steaks (about 1/2 inch thick each) .
  • 1 c apple jelly .
  • 2/3 c prepared yellow mustard

Directions
  • Step #1 Trim the fat around the edges of the ham steaks.
  • Step #2 Melt the apple jelly In a large-ish skillet over med-heat/flame for about 1-2 mins.
  • Step #3 Add mustard & pepper; mix in well.
  • Step #4 Place ham steaks into skillet & spoon sauce over them to cover.
  • Step #5 Cook, uncovered, about 5 mins per side, basting often.
  • Step #6 Turn out ham to a serving platter.
  • Step #7 Cut into serving size pieces as desired.
