4 chicken breast halves, boned, with skin & wings attached, about 2 lbs .
black pepper .
salt, if desired .
1 tbsp olive oil .
1/4 tsp garlic, finely minced
Directions
Step #1 Sprinkle top chicken with salt & pepper.
Step #2 Put the soy sauce, vinegar, maple syrup, olive oil, & garlic in a dish large enough to hold the breasts in one single layer & mix well.
Step #3 Add the chicken breast halves, skin side up, & coat them with the marinade; cover & let this stand 15 mins or until ready to cook.
Step #4 Arrange the chicken breasts skin side down in one layer on a baking dish.
Step #5 Place the chicken under the broiler, not the skin side up & then after 10 mins, turn over so it is skin side up & cook this until done; turning as needed to cook through.
