Tortellini Tomato Bisque Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (11 oz) can condensed tomato soup or tomato bisque soup .
  • snipped fresh chives (to garnish) .
  • 4 oz chive & onion cream cheese (1/2 of an 8oz. tub) .
  • 1 (9 oz) package put in the fridged cheese tortellini (or spinach or ??) .
  • 2 (14 oz) cans reduced-sodium chicken broth

Directions
  • Step #1 In a medium saucepan, bring broth to a boil & add the tortellini.
  • Step #2 Reduce heat & let simmer, uncovered, for 5 mins.
  • Step #3 In a bowl, whisk 1/3 c of the hot broth into the cream cheese spread.
  • Step #4 When smooth, return to the saucepan along with tomato soup; heat through.
  • Step #5 Sprinkle top with chives before serving.
