Post Christmas Shepherd's Pie Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 c leftover mashed swede .
  • 2 c sliced cooked turkey .
  • 4 c sliced leftover vegetables, such as carrots, Brussels sprouts, roasted parsnips, roast potatoes .
  • 6 small Italian sausages, wrapped in bacon wrapped (chipolatas, leftover cooked) .
  • 1 1/2 c leftover turkey gravy .
  • 2 c leftover prepared stuffing, crumbled .
  • 1 small onion, minced .
  • 1 1/2 c leftover mashed potatoes .
  • 1 egg, beaten

Directions
  • Step #1 Pre-heat the oven to 200*C/400*F.
  • Step #2 Heat the gravy up & then, stuffing, mix it with the turkey, vegetables, In a large-ish bowl, minced onion & sliced chipolatas.
  • Step #3 Turn into a medium-sized lightly greased baking dish.
  • Step #4 Whip the swede, mashed potatoes & beaten egg together with your electric beaters.
  • Step #5 Spread evenly over the turkey/vegetable mixture.
  • Step #6 Place in the pre-heated oven & bake for 35 to 45 mins until well heated through, bubbly & lightly browned on top.
  • Step #7 Remove from oven & let sit for 5 mins before serving.
