Chicken And Bow Tie Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • salt & pepper to taste
  • 2 (8 oz) containers chive & onion cream cheese
  • 1 (12 oz) package farfalle (bow tie) pasta
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 c freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 (14 oz) can chicken broth
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves

Directions
  • Step #1 Place chicken in a saucepan, & add water to cover.
  • Step #2 Boil 20 mins.
  • Step #3 Allow to cool, then pull meat into shreds.
  • Step #4 Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  • Step #5 Add pasta, & cook for 8 to 10 mins, or until al dente; drain.
  • Step #6 In a large skillet over medium-high heat, red pepper, garlic, broccoli, mix chicken broth, salt & pepper.
  • Step #7 Cover, & let simmer for 8 to 10 mins, until broccoli is crisp-tender.
  • Step #8 Stir in cream cheese until smooth.
  • Step #9 Mix in chicken & pasta until evenly coated.
  • Step #10 Garnish with Parmesan cheese.
