Caramel Crunch Ice Cream Topping Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/3 c light corn syrup .
  • ice cream .
  • 1/3 c packed brown sugar .
  • 1/3 c crisp rice cereal, coarsely crushed .
  • 1/4 c butter .
  • 1 tbsp water .
  • 1/3 c almonds, sliced

Directions
  • Step #1 In a medium skillet melt the butter.
  • Step #2 Add the almonds, cook & stir over medium-low hear for 5 mins or until the almonds brown.
  • Step #3 Add the corn syrup, brown sugar, & water to the skillet.
  • Step #4 Cook & stir until bubbly & the brown sugar is dissolved, about 4 mins.
  • Step #5 Stir in the rice cereal & serve as soon as possible over ice cream.
