• 3 c skim milk .
• whipped cream (optional) .
• 1 tbsp confectioners' sugar .
• 4 (3 1/2 inch) cinnamon sticks .
• 12 oz bittersweet chocolate, sliced .
• ground cinnamon, for dusting .
• 1/2 c heavy cream

• Step #1 Using 1 piece of heavy paper cut to fit over mugs, cut out a star shape in center.
• Step #2 Beat together cream & confectioners' sugar in large bowl to soft peaks.
• Step #3 Cover up & keep chilled.
• Step #4 Bring milk & cinnamon sticks just to a simmer in a small saucepan; remove this from heat.
• Step #5 Add chocolate & let this stand 2 mins.
• Step #6 Whisk mixture until chocolate melts.
• Step #7 Pour into mugs, reserving cinnamon sticks for garnish.
• Step #8 Top each with whipped cream.
• Step #9 Cover up mugs with the paper cutout & dust with ground cinnamon.
