- 1 tbsp confectioners' sugar .
- 4 (3 1/2 inch) cinnamon sticks .
- 12 oz bittersweet chocolate, sliced .
- ground cinnamon, for dusting .
- 1/2 c heavy cream
Directions
- Step #1 Using 1 piece of heavy paper cut to fit over mugs, cut out a star shape in center.
- Step #2 Beat together cream & confectioners' sugar in large bowl to soft peaks.
- Step #3 Cover up & keep chilled.
- Step #4 Bring milk & cinnamon sticks just to a simmer in a small saucepan; remove this from heat.
- Step #5 Add chocolate & let this stand 2 mins.
- Step #6 Whisk mixture until chocolate melts.
- Step #7 Pour into mugs, reserving cinnamon sticks for garnish.
- Step #8 Top each with whipped cream.
- Step #9 Cover up mugs with the paper cutout & dust with ground cinnamon.
