Step #10 Move pan away from the heat & add brandy or chicken broth.
Step #11 Return to heat & bring mixture to a boil, whisking continuously.

Step #13 Strain mixture & stir in the cream, remaining salt, & pepper.
Step #14 Add egg noodles, crab meat, & lemon juice & toss to coat.
Step #15 Divide mixture evenly among the prepared baking dishes, cover with foil wrap, & bake this until cooked through & the noodles are hot — about 20 mins.
