Spicy Chorizo Burgers Recipe

Ingredients
  • guacamole (topping) .
  • 1/2 c jalapeno peppers, sliced (or to taste) .
  • 8 oz shredded Mexican mix cheese or cheddar cheese .
  • 48 inches tortillas .
  • 1 lb chorizo sausage .
  • sour cream (Topping) .
  • 1/4 c butter, melted

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Step #2 Mix the meat & the peppers together until the peppers are more or less evenly distributed.
  • Step #3 Shape the meat into 5in patties.
  • Step #4 Place the patties in a pan with sides, & put into the oven for 18 mins.
  • Step #5 While the meat is cooking, butter one side of each of the tortillas, & place them on a cookie sheet butter side out with the cheese between them, making 4 "cheese sandwiches".
  • Step #6 After the meat cooks for about 12 mins, flip the patties.
  • Step #7 Place the tortillas in the oven.
  • Step #8 After 5 mins, the tops of the tortillas should be crispy, so flip them.
  • Step #9 Remove the patties when done to your liking, leave the tortillas in until both sides are crispy, flipping when needed.
  • Step #10 Assemble the burgers, using sour cream & guacamole as toppings.
  • Step #11 You can add extra cheese, peppers, onions, anything you want.
