Honey Ginger Salmon Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 tsp gingerroot, grated .
  • 1 green onion, sliced .
  • 1/3 c orange juice .
  • 1 1/2 lbs salmon fillets .
  • 1/3 c low sodium soy sauce .
  • 1/4 c honey .
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Directions
  • Step #1 Spray grill rack with nonstick spray before starting the grill.
  • Step #2 In bowl mix the juice, onion, honey, soy sauce, ginger & garlic powder.
  • Step #3 Mix well.
  • Step #4 Reserve 1/3 c for basting; cover & put in the fridge.
  • Step #5 Pour remaining marinade into large bag or dish; add salmon & turn to coat.
  • Step #6 Seal bag or cover dish & regrigerate 30 mins, turning 2-3 times.
  • Step #7 Heat grill to medium-hot heat.
  • Step #8 Drain & discard marinade.
  • Step #9 Place salmon skin side down on grill.
  • Step #10 Grill, covered 5 mins.
  • Step #11 Baste with reserved marniade.
  • Step #12 Grill 8-10 mins longer until done to your taste.
