Spiral Reuben Dijon Bites Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 (17 1/4 oz) package frozen puff pastry (you'll just need one sheet, thawed) .
  • 6-8 slices deli corned beef (about 6 oz.) .
  • 1 egg, beaten .
  • 3/4 c shredded swiss cheese (about 3 oz.) .
  • extra Dijon mustard .
  • 1/4 c Dijon mustard .
  • 1 tbsp caraway seeds

Directions
  • Step #1 On floured surface, roll pastry to 12x10 inch retangle.
  • Step #2 Spread 1/4 c mustard evenly over pastry; top this with cheese, then corned beef.
  • Step #3 Cut crosswise in half.
  • Step #4 Roll up each rectangle from short end, jelly-roll fashion, seal seams.

  • Step #6 Cut each roll this into 16 slices.
  • Step #7 Place, cut sides up, on lightly greased baking sheets.
  • Step #8 Brush with beaten egg & sprinkle with caraway seeds.
  • Step #9 Bake at 400F for 10 to 12 mins or until golden.
  • Step #10 Serve warm with extra mustard.
  • Step #11 *Note: If you like, you may prepare the rolls ahead to this point, then wrap & freeze.
  • Step #12 to serve, thaw at about room temp for 30 mins; slice & bake as directed above.
