4 hamburger buns with sesame seeds or hawaiian rolls, split & toasted .
1 tsp honey .
2 green onions, thinly sliced .
2 tsps sweet pickle relish .
1 tsp salt .
1 1/4 lbs ground chicken .
3 tbsps sliced green bell peppers .
2 tsps lime juice .
1 tbsp honey .
2/3 c panko (Japanese bread crumbs) .
1/2 c teriyaki sauce .
1 tbsp vegetable oil .
1 garlic clove, minced .
fresh ground black pepper, to taste .
1/4 tsp salt .
1 sprig fresh cilantro .
1 egg, lightly beaten
Directions
Step #1 In large bowl, mix together chicken, egg, cilantro, panko, onions, garlic, chili sauce & salt.
Step #2 With oiled hands, form into one patty per person.
Step #3 In small bowl, mix together teriyaki glaze & honey.
Step #4 In large nonstick frying pan over medium high heat, place oil to heat.
Step #5 Add chicken & cook, turning & brushing with teriyaki glaze, about 10 mins or until done.
Step #6 (Don't turn too often - if not they might crumble.
Step #7 ).
Step #8 Combine remainder of ingredients for the ginger mayonnaise; mayonnaise, garlic, ginger, lime juice, relish, salt & freshly ground black pepper.
Step #9 Place burgers on toasted buns that have the ginger mayonnaise on each side.
Step #10 Top each patty with lettuce, cucumber & ginger Mayonnaise.
Step #11 Garnish with extra cilantro & cucumber slices.
Step #12 Serve with Eden Foods Vegetable Chips(yum!)or with plantain chips, & your choice of beverage.
