Ingredients
  • 1 3/4 c all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 c white sugar
  • 1 c semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 c butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 c packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 c water
  • 2 eggs

Directions
  • Step #1 Preheat the oven to 325F degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Step #2 grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.
  • Step #3 In a large bowl, cream together the butter, white sugar & brown sugar.
  • Step #4 Beat in the eggs until batter is smooth & well mixed.
  • Step #5 Combine the flour, baking soda & salt; mix into the batter alternately with the water.
  • Step #6 Stir in chocolate chips by hand using a wooden spoon.
  • Step #7 Drop cookies by heaping spoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheets.
  • Step #8 Bake for 15 to 20 mins in the preheated oven, until the edges are golden brown.
  • Step #9 Remove cookies from cookie sheets to cool on wire racks.
